In the clothes You can regonize my different moods, feelings, emotions during 6 month experience which I went through. It was amazing time, which left unforgetable memories in my mind and heart..

So enjoy! :)
A lot of times it was a big confusion for me..totally different world, culture, traditions and people habits.
In lot of situations I needed to think totally from another angle of view, that´s why in my shirt there are two spaces for two heads - european thinking head and african. :)
Grass burning is a typical problem which causes a lot of fireworks, burned villiages and dead people.
Through this shirt I´m express my position - I was always against that.
I loved to travel in the back of the cars. You can feel the air, aroma and laugh about crazy hair dances :)
In some point it remind me my childhood. Indolent, mind-free, easy going and careless. That´s why I use this textile. Shorts and vest reminds me my first decent rig in kindergarden. :)
Sharpness - it was needed in a lot of convesations. Zambians liked to flow into the speech. Lot of times I was asking to be more concrete, short and terse.
The beads on the top of the sholders I was sewing 8 hours..:) I didn´t feel my fingers afterwards. It was my biggest experience with needle. :)
Water problems. Lot of people are dying there because of no access to water, or clean water. Lot of times I saw that they are drinking water in the same place where washing their clothes, dishes and themselves.
Shirt I was combining with blue textile which symbolizes water and shiny crystals which symbolizes diamonds. That means water = diamonds. The value as I saw was the same.
It was so dirty almost everywhere. As I am contrasted person, I love to play with opposite things. Perfectly white and clean with something dirty is a perfect combination for me to create white tuxedo :)
I fell in love with beautiful, early mornings and black coffee.
Very often I was feeling like a prince. I was recieving a lot of attention, compliments and love from children. Even if I am white it doesn´t make a difference..We are the same, that was the message which I was spreading. usually they compare me with a God. That´s wrong. I´m human, the same as them.
Shorts, because it was very hot :) I made a similar long, black trousers with Mocart buttons too :) In the future I will post it.. :)
Wind. I learned to listen in it and I can tell that warm wind is the most wondeful melody, which I have ever heard.
Me and my African brother Joseph 4 hours were spending at the bonfire, heating up our metal sticks and making holes which you can see in the wings. Mum told me that I look like a Batman. :D
Sometimes i felt like a clown :) Wherever went, I was surrounded with smile and crazy laughs.
Let your heart shine through your smile.. :)
OMG. Each time when I see this picture I want to laugh! :) There is only one problem if you want to make a clothes in Africa, you have to choose the textile which is there in the shop. Usually you have to choose between 3-5 possibilities :) Pity that flowers are blue, but still they are reminding me the flowers which I picked near the church, to bring my friend on womens day:)
My surname is Blums-Blumanis, which means Flower - Flowerman :)
It was not enough with white tuxedo, I needed grey too. White one was usually dirty in the first 5 minutes, that´s why I made something more useful :)
Main part actually is the back of tuxedo :)
I was surprised that apples were nowhere to be found. Or when I got them, they were very expensive. I was missing apples a lot. That´s why I create two shirts with name - `Missing apples` :) One is with long sleeves and one with short. :)
`Chitenge` is a traditional African textile which they are producing in many countries. I love flowers - I was experiencing a lot..(with my hair and flowers :D :D)
